COVID Killed the Cubicle: An Interview with Lieven Bertier

COVID-19 has forever changed how corporate America functions and the workplace will never be the same. A new research study from Barco, provides insight into what employees want in shaping the future workplace. People are aching to get back to the office. The numbers don’t lie: the initial novelty of working from home has vanished, and business results are suffering. According to the study, 49% enjoy working from home less than they did at the start of the pandemic, and nearly 60% of office workers saying that lack of face-to-face interaction with colleagues is the main cause of poor collaboration and connectivity at work. This study truly taps into the mind of the global workforce and how they are currently feeling about a return to work. Going forward, a redesign of where we work, how we work and the space in which we work is required. In this episode of TribePod, Courtney Lane interviews Lieven Bertier of Barco to discuss the research and give additional insight.
