It has been my experience that the recruiters who hire the talent do not conduct the exit interviews. Why not? I think such is a missed opportunity for recruiters to perfect their sales pitch and become more aware of the challenges inherent in the role. Moreover, I would take this a step further and connect with corporate alum who are currently working elsewhere. Why? If they are gainfully employed elsewhere, chances are you will get the most honest answers as they have nothing to lose.
