Here We "Grow"
Only three years ago, Proactive Talent consisted of one employee (myself) working out of a single office. Today, we have grown to over 30 employees and have our very own HQ - complete with a full lobby, state-of-the-art recording studio, conference room, private offices, and kitchen! Not only do we have our own building now, but our new hires from across the country have brought in incredible new skillsets, backgrounds, and ideas to the team. As our client list continued to grow, we noticed there was a gap in the services we provided and the full package some of our clients were looking for. We immediately set about finding a way to do this, and I am pleased to share that we are now a full-service recruitment marketing agency with the addition of our media strategies & solutions services. It’s incredible for me to reflect back and realize how far Proactive Talent has come in such a short time. From a new HQ, to many new hires, and bolstered services, Proactive Talent has become the resource for handling all of your employer branding and recruiting needs.
Journey of the Headquarters Remodel
In July, we moved into our own office building and quickly set about remodeling the space. We had an interior designer come in and plan out the space, help us pick out sleek furniture, and refer us to an amazing local artist to add the geometric murals. Our new space allows for collaboration with our employees, private offices for the sales team and consultants to get work done for our clients, as well as space for clients to come and meet with us. While 90% of our team is remote, we realized that having a physical space is key in reinforcing our company culture; here we are able to interact with all teammates (local and remote) to share ideas and collaborate. With our new office, we look forward to continuing our success and the services we offer our clients here in Austin, as well as throughout the US and abroad.

The Proactive Talent Tribe
A brand-new remodeled office and new full-service media agency solution is not even the most exciting thing happening at Proactive Talent. I'm pleased to announce some new leaders who have joined our growing future-of-work-modeled community of freelance practitioners:
James Ellis, based in Chicago and former Head of Global Employer Brand at Groupon will be joining us as a Lead Consultant, Employer Branding. I can't wait to see the things we do together. If you haven't yet, check out his podcast, The Talent Cast. It's good.
Courtney Gilbert Lane former talent and organizational development leader from Baylor Scott & White recently joined us as a Lead Consultant, Recruiting Optimization. She is focused on our largest healthcare clients. She's only been here a week and has already blown me and our new clients away. She's based in our HQ in Cedar Park, TX.
Ryan Affolter joins us as our Manager, Media Strategy & Solutions. I worked with Ryan back in our SuccessFactors/Jobs2Web days and he's one of the best recruitment advertising folks I've ever had the pleasure of working with and I'm excited to be building out this new media and advertising service from the ground up with him. He’s based in the Minneapolis area.
In Portland, Beth Carter recently joined us back in June as an Employer Brand Strategist and she’s also helping run our content marketing. We also added a Sales & Marketing Intern this month, Elena Moeller, who is working with us while she completes her bachelor’s degree at nearby St. Edward’s University. In addition, we’ve also added more than 15 new recruiters across the US and Canada helping to augment our clients’ recruiting teams to hire amazing talent.
Not even three years ago, this was a company of one and we are now more than 30 people strong and growing. We've helped companies as small as 2-person startups hire their first 20 employees, to large enterprises like General Electric transform their entire employer brand.
