Last year, in the spring of 2023, I temporarily closed Proactive Talent during the post-pandemic economic slowdown we've all been experiencing for the last two years. This allowed me to take a step back after an intense entrepreneurial run of growth, prioritize my health and family, and reflect on how I wanted to move forward in this rapidly evolving industry I love. During this time, I also took the opportunity to recharge and travel with my family, upskill with some new certifications, and embark on a post-grad program in AI & Machine Learning at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business.
This year, I've been actively meeting with dozens of HR Tech vendors and industry analysts and researching the future of talent acquisition and employer branding in an era dominated by AI and automation. I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to tackle some of the most persistent challenges plaguing our industry for many years.
